Durable Synthetic Wicker
Unlike standard polypropylene wicker, Wintons Teak uses premium high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that resists brittleness, maintains its shape, and retains its colour and texture over time. Built for lasting outdoor performance, every HDPE wicker piece is backed by a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind.
Kiln Dried Teak
To prevent splitting, cracking, and mold growth, teak is carefully seasoned through one month of kiln drying and two months of air drying. This process reduces the moisture content to below 10%, ensuring a stronger, more stable, and durable timber.
Hardened Aluminium
For load-bearing structures, it is often necessary to reinforce the aluminium bar. Also known as hardened aluminium, this process involves inserting a steel rod or solid timber into the hollow aluminium bar to strengthen the component. This not only allows the piece to carry more weight, but it also limits the welded component from flexing, which undermines its durability.
