General Warranty Policy
Harmony Imex Pty Ltd (ABN 90 107 544 285) trading as Wintons Teak provides this warranty for products purchased in Australia. This Warranty is subject to the Australian Consumer Law. The benefits provided under this Warranty are in addition to any other rights and remedies available to you as a consumer under Australian law. The Warranty period commences on the date of receipt of your goods.
Warranty coverage varies depending on the materials used and the furniture category. Please read this policy in conjunction with the Wintons Teak Care and Maintenance Guide for Outdoor Furniture.
Wintons Teak reserves the right to update product specifications and care instructions at any time. Please visit our website for the most current information.

Wintons Teak warrants that it will resolve any timber and/or structural defects — excluding the finish (stain, oil, or lacquer) and all outdoor foam and fabric — within the applicable warranty period by:
- Repair; or
- Replacement, where the product cannot be repaired.

The period covered in relation to the above scope of warranty also varies between the different materials. Wintons Teak offers a:
- A-Grade Teak Outdoor Products (excluding metal frames, sling seats, and synthetic rattan) - 5 year limited timber and structural warranty.
- Stainless Steel Frames - 5 year limited warranty (excluding tea staining in coastal environments).
- Aluminium Frames - 3 year limited warranty.
- Synthetic Rattan Outdoor Products - 3 year limited warranty.
- Outdoor Sling - 2 year limited warranty.
Foam and Fabric - No warranty provided.
Terms of Warranty
Terms of Warranty
The warranty is subject to the following conditions:
- Natural characteristics of the product or material are not considered defects. Please refer to the Wintons Teak Care and Maintenance Guide for Outdoor Furniture.
- Normal wear and tear is not considered a defect. Please refer to the Wintons Teak Care and Maintenance Guide for Outdoor Furniture.
- The product must be maintained in accordance with the care instructions provided.
- The warranty does not cover repairs or attempted repairs carried out by a service provider not approved by Wintons Teak.
- The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper cleaning, negligence, or the use of chemicals not recommended in our care guide.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by spills, including acid, solvents, dyes, food, candles, ink, paint, or body fluids.
- The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
- The warranty does not cover products used for commercial or non-domestic purposes.
- The cost of transportation for repair or replacement is not covered under this warranty.

2 year limited timber and structural warranty (excluding hardware and fittings). - All Dining Chairs, Bar Chairs, and Sofas
2 year limited timber and structural warranty And 1 year limited warranty for fabric and PU leather upholstery (excluding spills and stains).

Wintons Teak offers a 5 year structural warranty for bespoke furniture made from solid timber or engineered timber, including plywood and MDF.
All hardware and fittings are subject to the relevant manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand, with a minimum of 2 years.

How To Make A Claim
We take every warranty claim seriously. All claims must be assessed by our technicians. Please do not come to the store directly to make a warranty claim.
To lodge a claim, please contact us with your invoice number and photos of the affected product. We will assess your case within 10 business days and contact you to arrange repair, pick up, or delivery as appropriate.
If we require further evidence to confirm that the issue is due to a manufacturing defect rather than improper use or negligence, we may ask you to provide a written declaration confirming:
- I have followed the product care and feature instructions provided by Wintons Teak.
- I am making this warranty claim in good faith.
- I have attached my invoice and photos of the defective product.
