Delivery Terms & Conditions

At Wintons Teak, we take great care in getting your furniture to you safely and on time. Please read our delivery terms carefully before placing an order.

GENERAL DELIVERY TERMS

1. Balance payments must be made prior to or on the delivery date. We accept the following payment methods for outstanding balances:

  • Bank transfer (EFT) — please send remittance to customerservicewintonsteak@gmail.com
  • Stripe payment link — we will send you a secure link via email
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) over the phone — we will email an updated invoice reflecting your payment

2. Any changes to your delivery address or scheduled time must be notified at least one business day before your delivery date. Wintons Teak reserves the right to refuse address changes or adjust the delivery charge accordingly.

3. If you wish to cancel or return goods after delivery, additional charges will apply to return the items to our warehouse. The return freight cost will be equivalent to the original delivery charge.

4. We are unable to hold goods for more than 21 days without full payment of any outstanding balance. Wintons Teak reserves the right to charge additional storage fees for periods beyond 21 days.

5. Our delivery service does not include access to spaces requiring specialised material handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, or scissor lifts. In such circumstances, Wintons Teak reserves the right to retain any delivery charges already incurred.

 

DELIVERY WITHIN SYDNEY METRO

Delivery within the Sydney Metro area is carried out by our own trained team, who handle and assemble your furniture with care and professionalism. Please note the following:

  • Our service includes assembly and placement of your furniture at your preferred location. It does not include rearranging your existing furniture.
  • We do not dismantle, remove, or dispose of existing furniture.
  • Delivery timeframes depend on the type and quantity of goods ordered and the layout of your property.

 

DELIVERY OUTSIDE SYDNEY METRO

For deliveries outside the Sydney Metro area, we use trusted third-party delivery partners. Please be aware of the following:

  • Assembly services may not be available, as third-party crews are not specifically trained to assemble our products.
  • Real-time delivery status updates may not always be available, particularly for regional and rural areas.
  • In some rural locations where door-to-door delivery is not possible, items may be delivered to a nearby depot for you to collect.
  • Delivery pricing for areas outside Sydney Metro is calculated at checkout based on your postcode and order. Additional charges may apply in some cases, which will always be communicated to you for approval before proceeding.

 

DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery postcode and the type of items ordered. For areas not covered by our standard delivery zones, or for deliveries to WA, NT, and TAS, please contact us directly for a quote.
