Because the timber is naturally rich in oil and dense in grain, it can be left unfinished outdoors without losing its natural beauty. It remains smooth to the touch, does not require oiling, and continues to look refined as it matures.
We use only true A-grade teak. That is what allows it to age naturally and remain premium-looking throughout its life outdoors.

Weathered
Grey Patina
When left outdoors, teak gradually develops a lovely silver-grey patina. This is a natural ageing process that gives the timber a calm, timeless and elegant look.
Washed Teak Look
After cleaning with warm soapy water, the timber takes on a softer natural wood tone. It is lighter and more relaxed than new teak, while still retaining the warmth and character of real timber.
Restored
New Teak Look
If you prefer the original appearance, the timber can be restored to its fresh A-grade teak warm honey colour with a light sanding after washing.
