Each product in the Alto range is designed to be a multi-purpose piece. The design further considers space limitations by promoting openness. This is well demonstrated by the two trapezoidal vertical structures, optimising negative space which invites users to interact with objects housed in and on it. This is in direct contrast to traditional approaches to storage pieces, with only a single purpose that often appears heavy, formal and boxed in.
